On Valentine's Day, Nonzuzo Gxekwa and I embarked on a journey to uncover gestures of love in Johannesburg. From delivering bouquets to friends sharing ice cream and couples openly displaying affection, we encountered numerous individuals embodying love's spirit. The streets radiated with affection, offering merely a glimpse into the abundance of love present. Nonzuzo made the portraits while we printed them on Instax to gift to participants. I directed and edited the video, featuring music co-produced by Eugene Ackerman and myself, with vocals by Deslynn Malotana.

This set the tone for the day. I stopped at Kameraz at Rosebank to buy a box of instax. I was gifted a doughnut which Nonzuzo decided to pose with in the next image.
